I write, therefore I am.
Although Descartes never actually wrote the now-famous phrase, this borrowing of the most well-known statement in philosophical history also happens to convey the depth and resonance of the relationship that I have with my writing: writing is life-giving for me. In partnering with others in their learning and helping them to realize their own potential, writing has long been a safe space, a place where I could recognize myself, acknowledge myself, and become myself.
My backgrounds in philosophy (undergraduate major) and theology (graduate degree) offer a wealth of knowledge and experience to one of my primary passions: writing about how we as humans seek to understand ourselves and the world around us.
Because I'm an athlete at heart and sport is in my blood, I have enduring interests in the worlds of basketball and college football, respectively. Additionally, hip-hop is a love of mine that I have never tired of.
I'd love to work with you!
