We live in a society now where people are living autonomous lives. People are governing their own lives according to their own subjective views on how they want to live. People in a sense have become their own gods, therefore determining for themselves what's right or wrong in their own eyes--moral subjectivity at its best. Is morality objective? Is there an absolute to morality? And if there is . . . who created it? Who's writing the rules? Who's pulling the strings? And what do they say? Is there a God? And if there is a God then how do I get to know him? Is that even possible? Is God real and can I know him?
Scientist have studied reality at the quantum level and many scientist theorized that life is only information that when observed we only experience one of the many probabilities that could have happened in that moment of observation. Fascinating, but nothing new, as the bible says, "In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God . . . All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made." Now, scientific observation says reality is but information, and the bible, which is the word of God, says everything was made by the word of God--and as these two perspectives are paradigmatic--it appears that everything (including mankind) is made up of the information created by the very words of God. God has created everything with his word, and the information that he has formulated to operate according to his will is packed with the probable possibilities of life as we experience them. We can either experience this life according to the way he intended for us to experience it or we can create our own way adverse to his intended instructions and live a life in the dark far away from ever experiencing his presence.
The question is not whether or not God is real. Rather, the more monumental questions are, who is He? and can I know him? If you read the bible you will quickly find out that God, Yahovah in the Hebrew tongue, sent his son into the world in order to save the world from their autonomous actions; which were apart from his word that created everything in the beginning. Jesus Christ is that son, the son of God, the very word of God made flesh, sent by God, and who is God begotten of mankind in order to save mankind by creating a way for mankind to travel from his autonomous dimension over into a right standing place within the true reality of God our creator. Not only is there a God but he has sacrificed who he is in order for YOU to experience who he is in a more excellent way than you have already unknowingly experienced him in our obliviousness. We were made by his word, and therefore his word is pumping through every fiber of our being--that means we have been using his pre-existing materials (ourselves) to do whatever we wanted to do apart from God. We have been experiencing God in ourselves the wrong way, in contempt of who he is, and because of his love and kindness he still allows us to live in a twisted version of who he is. Is God real and can I know him? Yes, God is real. Yes, there is a God. Yes, we can know him, and all we have to do is turn to his word and he will begin to speak to us but only according to our hunger to know him the right way--through binding ourselves to the word of God according to the gospel of Jesus Christ . . . and this is the most important information we can ever know.
